Quickstart

From a fresh install to Google reviews on your homepage in about five minutes. This walkthrough uses Google; the same flow applies to every platform.

1. Connect a source

Open Range Trust → Sources. Under Add a source:

  1. Pick Google as the platform.
  2. Paste your Place ID (find it with Google's Place ID finder).
  3. Paste a Google Cloud API key with the Places API (New) enabled; see Google for the two-minute setup.
  4. Click Add source. The first sync runs immediately and the row shows your business name, rating and review count.

2. Create a widget

Open Range Trust → Widgets → New widget.

  • Name it ("Homepage slider").
  • Leave the layout on Slider, pick a style.
  • Under Which reviews, tick your Google source and keep the minimum rating at 4.

The preview on the right updates as you change settings. Click Save widget; the success notice shows your shortcode.

3. Embed it

Paste the shortcode anywhere:

[range_trust id="1"]

Or add the Range Trust Reviews block in the editor and pick the widget from the dropdown. Page-builder options and template tags are covered in Embedding.

Next steps

  • Reviews re-sync automatically on the cadence set in Settings (Sources).
